Preventing Thermal Attacks on Passwords with Machine Learning

Working under Mohamed Khamis to analyse, disseminate and present research exploring the security threat of thermal attacks: how thermal cameras can observe the heat traces left by fingertips on keyboards, keypads or phones and, thus, observe passwords, passcodes or patterns.

Worked to support the development and dissemination of a large-scale psychological analysis tool.Completed vital components of the survey tool, designed a fully operational website prototype, from which the project's site was based, produced the studies informational video and advertising materials for the project.  Handled  contact form queries, administered payment.

PhD Thesis which investigated the use of a novel category of vibrotactile stimuli, emotionally resonant stimuli which elicit emotional responses to evoked real-world experiences, as a calming intervention for socially anxious people during social exposure. Supervised by Stephen Brewster.
